The NOAA Chespaeake Bay Office mapped a portion of Jobos Bay, Puerto Rico, on a special out-of-watershed project for the Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment's Biogeography group in April 2009. The effort will be used to inform a joint U.S. Department of Agriculture and NOAA Conservation Effects Assessment Project along the island's south central coast. These are preliminary images of backscatter and bathymetry.
