Sea Nettle Forecasts The sea nettle, Chrysaora quinquecirrha, is the most common jellyfish found in Chesapeake Bay waters. Knowing where and when to expect these biotic nuisances may help to alleviate problems. Seafloor Mapping Acoustic seafloor mapping images are being produced for a variety of projects around the Bay. These products support NOAA's integrated ecosystem asessments and habitat restoration work.
